Dansko is not a new name to me, however they are a new shoe for my foot! I have seen Dansko pop up in more and more places in the past year- I even saw a billboard the other day that informed me they are leading women’s comfort brand and are loved by women across the country so I knew I just had to try them out!
The Valerie I was sent is my very first pair of Dansko shoes that I have owned. My feet felt like they were slipping in to satin when I put them on. I have a pretty narrow foot so I was very pleased to be able to adjust the width of the shoe with a buckle so it fit my foot just right!
Just in time for Mother’s Day, I am featuring the my Valerie shoe and the adorable Valentine shoe made just for little ones! They make the perfect Mother/Daughter pair! They are both Dansko’s Sanibel collection, which is a light weight sneaker collection that debuted last year with a huge response.
The Valerie shoe has a sneaker outsole with the adorable design of a Mary Jane. The shoe has a removable contoured footbed and rubber outsole. They are great daily wear shoes, while also being cute enough to toss on with a skirt! The Valerie is covered by a canvas fabric that is vegan approved and available in quite a few colors. I choose the Blue Hawaii because it was the only Valerie shoe that matched a Valentine shoe perfectly!
The Valentine is an adorable Mary Jane that was made to mirror Mommy’s Valentine shoe- it is perfect for a daughter to be more like mom! I love that the straps of the Valentine adjust via a velcro instead of a buckle. This means Carlee can get them on and off her self and have a snug fit every time! This shoe is made of the same canvas as the Valerie, but in less prints. The shoe does run a bit wide which I like because it means it can be worn in the winter with socks!

I love the mommy daughter duo. It is super cute that you can have Twinkie toes! If I have a little girl, watch out! I will totally be stocking up on these.. For now they will make a great gift for my shoe obsessed niece and her mom.
