Red Robin:Tavern Double and Tavern Styles

My husband is a huge burger fan but it seems like for the longest time he has avoided them. I asked him about it and he explained that he was sick of eating the same old burger and bun. Red Robin recently introduced Red’s Tavern Double as part of their fresh new menu and I just knew I had to get him into try one out!

Red’s Tavern Double is a fire-grilled double burger topped with American cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato and Red’s Secret Tavern Sauce on a toasted sesame bun. Accompanying this “classic” version of Red’s Tavern Double are three Tavern Styles to satisfy burger lovers’ taste for something a bit more tangy, spicy or truly bacon-inspired.

True Review: Nate thought the regular Tavern Double looked great- But he is a huge bacon lover so ended up going with the Pig Out Style! The Pig Out was definitely one of the better burgers he has had in a long time. The pure amount of bacon on this burger make it like no bacon burger I have ever seen. You almost feel sorry for the pig while you are eating it! The bacon aioli definitely sets this burger apart from all the rest taking this burger and my expectations when it comes to bacon burgers to a whole new level. The steak fries were piping hot and seasoned to perfection. To top all that off my milkshake was bottomless.

I love eating at Red Robin because there is always something for the kids to do while we are waiting for food. The weight staff is friendly, the building is filled with interesting pictures and fun stuff to look at and of course they provide crayons!

  17. I tried the Pig Our Style today
    What a totla waste of time. My burger arrived at my table with one SMALL piece of bacon folded over. REALLY!!!!
    When I asked the server and manager about this, I was told that this is the right PORTION of bacon.
    I was expecting a generous amount of bacon.
    I really cannot believe they are so far off on this, since everything else I have tried there has been great.
    Needless to say, I did not bother to eat this disapointment…

    I do not have a RedRobin around here but I would probably prefer the Pig Out style – unless they all only serve one piece of bacon
