2013 Lexus GS 450h

I told you a few weeks ago all about the Lexus ES 350. I car that I quickly fell in love with, that made toting my tots around a breeze and was my mom mobile for a little over a week! This week I agreed to try out the GS 450h. A sedan much like the ES 350, but with lots of added luxury and better gas mileage!

Features include:

  • 338 total system horsepower
  • 0-60 in 5.6 seconds
  • 34 MPG rating (hwy)
  • Exclusive matte bamboo trim
  • Exclusively available LED headlamps
  • Seats 5

I was easily able to fit three car seats in the back seat, however what I was really impressed with when it came to the back seat was adult passenger comfort. A few friends and I went to the mall and they were super comfortable in the back seat. The  rear-seat controls allowed them to control the audio system, rear-seat climate zone, power rear sunshade and heated outboard seats.

I have honestly never looked very close at the safety features a car comes with till now. On a typical day out I have at least two children with me. If we got into an accident and I found out it was because our car was lacking a safety feature that was on many others I could never for give myself. The 450h is packed with safety features like a class-leading 10-airbag system that includes an all-new side-impact airbag design to help provide additional support for the rib cage and upper arm. Plus seat belt force limiters, vehicle stability control, rain sensing automatic wipers, headlight washers, safety connect and whip last lessening front seats.

Speaking of front seats… I have never sat in a vehicle seat that was as comfortable as the GS 450’s. The 18-way power adjustable front seats (which includes lumbar, side bolsters, articulating backrest, extendable lower cushion and butterfly head rest) allow you to mold the seat to your body for the most comfortable driving and riding experience ever!

If you are in the market for a new car and want a luxury one, I’m not sure you can find better than the GS 450h. It made toting around the kids a breeze and I knew the entire time that they were comfortable and safe!

The Vehicle I test drove had a price tag of 68,007.00, which included HSS Navigation with 12.3 inch screen, intuitive park assist, blind spot monitor, 18 inch alloy wheels, adaptive front lighting system, rear door manual sunshades,  auto dimming mirrors and so much more!

Special thanks to Lexus for letting me test drive the GS 450h for a week.

Gorgeous interior! I have a 2003 Lexus GS300 and I will probably never buy anything but Lexus from now on. It’s reliable, comfortable, elegant, roomy, and easy to maintain. We need to buy a second car now, though, since we have another baby coming in February. I am going to go test drive this one this weekend!

  10. I like this car! I think it’s elegant and has got everything that I can desire but it’s too expensive for me! =(

All those wood details in the interior remind me of my old 1974 Fiat Spyder Convertible. I know but it just does 🙂

Would love to own this car! It is such a nice looking car!

  21. My mom had a Lexus and it was such a wonderful car ( I used to try to figure out ways to “borrow” it.) Such a smooth ride. I have a Chrysler Pacifica and the main reason is that it has the same engine as a Lexus ..so smooth and dependable!

  22. Wow, how could you stand giving it back. That would make any other car experience seem a little lacking Im sure

  23. Juan Sanchez says

It’s a very nice car! I’m so jelly right now 😛

  24. Carolyn A Colley says

This looks like a great SUV. I love how everything looks so nice and it has so many accessories. It is amazing what all is going into vehicles now. I would love to own something like this but alas it is way out of my budget. I bet it was fun to drive though!
