Bright Starts: Sunnyside Safari Portable Swing

Living in a small apartment means we are tight on space but I knew I wanted a swing for my 2nd child. It was a life saver with our first. When I received the Sunnyside Safari Portable Swing and began to put it together I was surprised with how easy it was to assemble. The directions were easy to understand and the parts had markings on them that made it extra easy.

Features include:

  • Machine washable padded seat
  • Truespeed Technology maintains 6 speeds as baby grows
  • Yellow no slip grips
  • 2 reclining positions

The sunnyside safari swing has 2 positions to choose from, Laying back and sitting up, depending on what kind of mood your little one is in. It is easy to fold up and take with you on the go. The swing is also equipped with whisper quiet technology, so it is not a noisy swing at all.  Plus the 5 point harness system lets you know that baby is safely strapped in.

Swing

Having another small child to tend to this swing was great to have. It was east to move from room to room; where ever I needed to be. I loved that it had to reclining positions. My daughter didn’t always want to lay back so being able to sit up and be apart of the commotion was very nice. I was a little concerned that the swing was a little wobbly, but with research I found that most portable swings were like that. Having a full size swing previously I felt that this did not swing very hard. But It was enough for my daughter, she loved to have it on the fastest speed.  I did not how ever like how loud the clicking was when you switched speeds, it woke her up often when I would turn it down when she was asleep. Overall we really enjoyed the swing.

Funny, I remember my grandson loving to have his swing on fast also. We’ve outgrown these swings for babies now but this looks like a nice one.

  2. This is really cute (the baby too). I’d like to get one for my new Granddaughter, is this still a good review?
