Sometimes it feels like once November rolls around I never leave the kitchen. We have so many birthdays in winter, plus Thanksgiving and Christmas. I often feel like I never leave the kitchen! To make being in the kitchen a bit more fun for me and to include my kids in the process I try to make food a bit more fun.
I make food more fun by making sure it looks interesting and tastes amazing! I love cookie dough but it really is not good to eat uncooked because of the eggs! I kept seeing recipes on Pinterest for a cookie dough ball that had no eggs in it- it’s kind of like a cheese ball you see at parties, but instead of cheese cookie dough! To make it a bit more festive for the holidays I use red and green chocolate chips once the stores set them out!
Ingredients:
-8 oz cream cheese, softened.
-1/2 cup butter, softened.
-1 cup powdered sugar.
-2 tbsp brown sugar.
-1/2 tsp vanilla.
-1 cup mini chocolate chips (x2)
-Animal crackers.
I would never have thought of a dessert cheese ball, but why not?! This looks yummy and will be a great dessert to keep the family together around the table after dinner instead of spreading out with cookies.
That’s a cute idea. Don’t you love Pinterest?
I love this recipe. I am going to make it tomorrow.
This sounds marvelous…I think I will make it as a pre dinner snack for Thanksgiving. They can pick on it while watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade on ‘TV.
Oh yummy, I need to try this recipe.
That sounds good. Especially the no egg part. And to think as kids we used to eat the cookie dough raw.
Yum!! thats looks great! i should try this for christmas!
This looks so good!!! Will be giving this one a try!!
This sounds amazing! I’m going to make it for our next family get together.
