Did you see?! How could you miss it?! My very favorite pharmacy of all times, CVS is now inside my local Target!! Squeeeeeeee! (danger danger danger, increased visits anticipated!) You may have noticed your Target pharmacy is now a CVS as well because all of Target’s 1,672 pharmacies across 47 states are transitioning. 
What’s this mean? Well it means I now have another excuse to visit Target! And that this busy momma has one less place to run to at the end of a busy week. Even better news is that I don’t have to do anything because of the change, and you don’t have to either.
If you were previously a Target pharmacy customer, your pharmacy has changed to CVS Pharmacy. CVS Pharmacy has your prescription records on file and you can access and refill your prescriptions on CVS.com or by visiting CVS Pharmacy inside Target. If you had enrolled your Target prescriptions in an automatic refill process, CVS Pharmacy will continue to automatically refill your prescriptions for you. Existing CVS customers can now pick up prescriptions inside Target and if you visited Target pharmacy before, all your records were moved over.
Target pharmacy customers maybe sad to see that Target Pharmacy Rewards have been discontinued. But now customers have access to ExtraCare Pharmacy & Health Rewards, which I will talk all about in another post next month.

I love this change! I’m always in Target anyway and now it makes it super easy to remember to pick up my ongoing medications. As a parent it’s nice to have “2 stores” in one so there is less in/out of the car.
Yes! One less trip equals one less car seat buckling experience with my 2 year old who has decided when its time to go in his car seat his body is made entirely of noodles!
This is awesome! I picked up my prescriptions from CVS so now I’ll love going into Target too – I’ll be able to get more shopping done! Great news!!
I love this change. Cvs is also my favorite pharmacy so to have them combined is awesome!! Can’t wait for the change at all my local target stores. Only 1 has changed so far. (I have 3 within 7-8 miles!!)
I am excited for this because I am in Target way more than CVS now and I hate having to change my prescriptions!

I have all my scripts sent to CVS. Having it sent to my TARGET CVS will make it even more time saving. I am rarely in the stand alone store, but won’t admit to how often I’m in Target lol.
