Lock-It Down Diner

Disclosure: This post brought to you by Kranky Pantz.

We’ve all had it happen. You slave over dinner. You get the kids plates ready first and serve them all. Then you finally get to sit down and enjoy your room temperature food when you hear it.. The dreaded sound of the toddlers plate hitting the floor. Ugh.. There has to be a better way to make the transition from high chair to table easier.IMG_5741+copyNow there is, with the Lock-It Down Diner! The Lock-It Down Diner is a tray-to-table dining aid created to provide a simple solution to keeping your toddlers plates on the table. The tray-to-table dining system clips and grips to an ordinary table ( up to 1 3/4″ thick) and comes with adjustable and removable clips.  The bowls and plates are designed to lock into the tray with one simple twist motion.  IMG_5665+copy The tray is spill/leak proof and acts as a table protector with the additional use for arts & crafts or play when installed with the flush insert. Food that falls off your toddlers spoon, on the way to their mouth will hit the tray, and then they can scoop the food off the trap. This leaves less mess and ensures your toddler eats more of their food.

It is also really helpful for mealtime inside our RV. For some unknown reason, RV manufacutrers decided that carpet under the dining room table is totally the way to go. Have you ever tried to pick mac and cheese out of carpet? It is not fun, not fun at all. We really dont have room for a high chair, so this tray, plus a booster seat is an excellent solution.

IMG_5545+copyThe bowl and the plate are made from Tritan® plastic, a highly durable, impact-resistant, BPA/BPS-toxin free material and are dishwasher and microwave safe. When your child is old enough that they don’t toss their entire dinner plate, the bowl and plate can be used as a standalone product.  IMG_5835+copyThe Lock-It Down Diner is light weight, simple, and easy-to-use design, so you can take it with you when you go out to eat to cover the germ filled table. The tray also fits on most picnic tables, so it can even go camping with you.unnamed-child Buy It: The Lock-It Down Diner Starter Kit (which is proudly made in the USA) is available in three fun bright blue, green, and yellow color combinations or a translucent red. Included in the Starter Kit: (1) tray, (1) bowl, (1) plate, (2) clips, & (1) flush insert.
