Munchkin’s new line of Click Lock Cups are just right because they click- literally! These cups feature a simple click-and-lock lid to securely close for a leak proof seal – guaranteed. You can see, hear and feel the cup lock, so you know for sure you are leak and spill proof!
Munchkin’s Click Lock Big Kid Cup has a spout-less rim that helps transition kids to a regular cup. It features a soft molded center that’s easy to grip! It looks just like similar coffee tumblers that we own!
Does it leak? As long as the lid is properly clicked into place and the valve is on right not a drop of liquid comes out of the Munchkin Insulated Sippy Cup no matter how hard my kids try. Clicking the lid into place is super easy- just tighten till you hear the click. The tabs on the lids sides of the cup ‘run over’ a bump on the top of the cup and make a ‘click’ing noise!
Does it keep the drink cold? The inside is insulated for cooler, fresher drinks- this sippy cup stays cold for about three hours if you add an ice-cube to it. By far the longest, cold retaining one we own!
Does it fit in a cup holder/my child’s hands? This sippy cup is average size, width of a coke can. The grip makes it super easy to for my three-year old to tote around! It also fits in
How many pieces to make the cup work? Hard or soft top? There are three pieces with this cup- the lid, the cup and the valve. Replacement valves are 2.99 for a three pack from Munchkin; so I am not to worried about losing them. The top is made of hard plastic, but the spout-less rim is darn near impossible to bite on!
Mom’s favorite feature? They are dad and daycare friendly! If you have to leave your little one with someone else they are going to have to feed them. Many times I have come home to a mess on the floor or a soaked child because the lid was not put on the sippy cup right. With this cup; who ever screws the lid on waits for the click, and they are good to go!
Does my child like it? This cup is to hard for my one year old to drink out of but my three and five-year olds love this cup because it is just like my water cup!
How much are they? The Munchkin 9oz Click Lock Insulated Big Kid Cup is sold at various retailers. The cheapest I found was 4.99 for a single cup!
- Target- $4.99
Any downsides? The valve collects dirt and grime very easily the lid has small crevices that are hard to get the gunk out of.
Specs: The Munchkin Click Lock Insulated Big Kid Cup is best for ages 18months+ and holds 9oz!
Trying these cups out is 100% worth it because Munchkin is so confident these new cups are mess-free, they promise with a 100% replacement guarantee if you have leaks!
Looks like a great cup. I love that its insulated
Nice that they have a 100% replacement guarantee.
We have about 6 of these cups and I have noticed the more you use them the harder it is to get them not to leak. My daughter has had her click lock Hello Kitty cups for about a month or so and used them daily and now you have to turn the lid half way past the clicking sound to make it so it doesn’t leak milk/juice when she tips it.
Love that it’s insulated and spill proof
I love that this is insulated! I don’t like how the valve is hard to clean. It is really hard to find a good sippy that doesn’t leak but the valve is easy to take apart and clean
i would love to try it, but i can’t find it in anywhere. Any idea where i can get one?
