Think just because you have kids a sports car is out of the question? Think again! The Scion FR-S is an attractive, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive, practical sports coupe that comfortably fits two extra large car seats in the back!  And with a starting price of $25,355.00, it's affordable too! The interior of the car aims to please. The two front seats look very sporty with red stitching and sides. They don't have as many ways to adjust as I'd like, but myself (5' 4" ) and my husband ("6' 0") were both able to get comfortable enough in the drivers seat.  The easy to use air dials make adjusting the temperature easy and the simple radio has no learning curve, however I really would have liked to see a touch screen instead of the much older technology being used. If you are looking for a crossover that is distinctive looking, boasts good fuel economy is fun to drive, can fit two extra large car seats and a huge double stroller, than the 2012 Kia Sportage may be the crossover for you! The Sportage gets a whopping 27 highway miles per gallon which is super high for a crossover. You will get around 20 if all your driving is city. During my test drive I got 24 miles per gallon which allowed me to use only a half a tank during my one week test drive, in which I used the Sportage and only the Sportage to run all my errands! The Sportage ranks 6 out of 21 when it comes to Affordable Compact SUVs but the interior feature make you feel like you are driving one of the most expensive ones. 2013 Nissan Quest LE

When your a busy mom on the go, one of the most important things you can have is a great vehicle to tote your family around in. Nissan loaned our family the Quest last month to drive around town and I am amazed at how mom friendly it was. The DVD entertainment system kept my kids super busy, the extra large interior space made it comfortable to sit in even with 5 car seats and two adults and the amazing camera system made it a breeze to park! The more I test drive crossovers the less I like my mini van. Sure a mini van has things that crossovers can not offer, such as comfortable seating for seven and ease of in and out- but wait... the Infiniti JX has super comfortable seating for seven and is super easy to get in and out of!
