Studies show that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so before we spent the entire day exploring Cincinnati we decided to find the best spot in town for breakfast- and boy did we strike gold.
Top This Donut Bar is specialty donut shop that features fresh baked daily cake donuts prepared on site, cinnamon rolls, cookies and rice krispie treats.
Once you pick your base you have the opportunity to create a delicious and unique treat using as many or as few toppings as you want, including a wide variety of candies, confections, fruits, nuts and more.
Kids and adults alike can create whatever their little heart desires. Icing and the first topping is included.
No combination is too strange. Kids can even order all on their own.
Carlee picked strawberry icing with sprinkles and oreos, she called it her princess donut.
Ethan decided for his breakfast he wanted a “dirt donut”.
And Emmitt, seeing Ethan’s awesome worms also made a “dirt donut” but decided his worms wanted to burrow in M&Ms instead of Oreos!
I decided I wanted to try a cinnamon roll instead and topped mine with Reeses! By the time I was ready to eat it, all my Reeses had melted and it was so. so. good. Warm cinnamon roll, melded together with chocolate and peanut butter- it was to die for.
Don’t let the word “donut” fool you, you can eat Top That any time. Snack time you can top a cookie. Desert time you can mix a donut and ice cream with whatever toppings you want. The possibilities are endless. The restaurant also has free Wi-Fi and charging stations all for customers to enjoy.

I want to go to this Donut Bar. I do not think I have one in my town. I get to put what toppings I want on top! Incredible place to take the kids.

I love all of the different choices. They remind me a bit of donuts I saw on the Food Network at one of the Disney theme parks. The closest I ever get to “fancy” donuts is the Walmart bakery! The restaurant’s name makes me think of the rap battle song, “Top That”, from the 1980’s movie, ‘Teen Witch’.
Now thats a donut. I have never seen a donut bar before. I like all the choices there are. I would imagine the kids had a ball.
