Hidden Cove RV Resort – Arley, AL

Have you ever visited a campground and instantly felt like you were at home? Like you could cement your wheels to your spot and never leave? Because that is exactly how I felt when we pulled into Hidden Cove RV Resort and now that we are gone, I long to go back. The campground has 68 well manicured spots and is open year round. The lovely park manager helped us pick a site that was close to the park and plenty big enough for our big rig and two cars. Being right across from the park was the kids favorite part.Leveling the 5th wheel took some finagling. But with a few boards under one side, we were good to go. And go we did. Right to the lake!I do believe I could have stayed at the lake our entire stay. The lookout deck was the perfect place for a picnic and right down the stairs from that we found small rocks perfect for jumping off.A second lake access point allowed us to launch our kayaks. And if we had brought a boat with us, there was a dock. When we weren’t swimming in the lake, we were lounging by the pool.

Or competing in a head to head match of mini golf! And on days that it rained, we hung out in the activity center playing pool…watching TV with fellow campers…and racing matchbox cars with the kids!We had excellent AT&T signal at Hidden Cove. There was a Dollar General right down the road that we found great prices on milk and eggs at. Walmart was a bit of a drive so we stocked up while we were there.

Hidden Cove is one of my very favorite Thousand Trails parks thus far. It is a great option for those looking to park their RV and participate in park activities for their entire stay. We found no reason to leave the park because there was SO much to do!

No RV? No problem! Hidden cove has two different rentals to choose from.
