A trip to Virginia Beach can get very expensive, very fast. The following five places are free to visit and provided my family hours of entertainment even with young children. Virginia Beach Fishing Pier: This very popular attraction and fishing spot was a huge hit with my kids. The pier is located on 15th street and the boardwalk.
