PA Dutch Country RV Resort – Manheim, PA

Located almost right in between Lancaster and Hershey Pennsylvania you will find the cozy and tree filled campground we have spent lots of time at this summer- PA Dutch Country.Open from April to October the campground features 247 sites, many of them offering plenty of shade. We had no problem at all getting a full hook-up site. Setting up took no time at all, as our site was rather level. It fills up fast on popular weekends, but during the week all three times we were there we had the upper lot almost all to ourselves. Our site was perfect during the week when the park was empty. On weekends we felt a little squished so spent most of the time at the pool. The large pool is one of the nicest we have seen this year, and features a gradual incline to get in. This was perfect for keeping the little one entertained in. We spent a ton of time at the pool because its in the center of everything fun.The gorgeous deck around the pool area offers plenty of seating and shade…and is just a few feet away from the nicely stocked store. The large playground is right outside of the pool area.And the mini golf is right around the corner from the park!A small community fire pit is right outside of the mini golf area, we met new friends there on two occasions and shared s’mores and camping stories.Both our AT&T and Verizon signal was fantastic at this park. We had no issues finding things to do, places to visit and stores to shop in during our stay. The campground is located just a hop, skip and a jump off the PA turnpike. Getting to major cities only takes about an hour.
