I can honestly say that I never in a million years thought that I would get so excited over a trash can, I mean it just holds trash. However the trash can I have been using and loving for a few months from simplehuman is something to get excited about and has by far surpassed my trash can expectations!

The System
Yes this trash can is so awesome it has it’s own system! The smartbucket bag change system eliminates messy bag overhang and makes it easier to take out the trash. The integrated handles make it simple to remove inner bucket. The bucket park lip is a small notch that keeps the inner bucket in position for simple bag removal and the bag tuck hole in the bucket makes it simple to hide away the excess bag!
The Lid
The lid is one of the best features of this trash can. There is an eco- friendly charcoal filter that helps the trash can not smell as much like a trash can! The Simple Human patented lid shox technology controls the motion of the lid so each and every time it is opened it closes slowly and quietly. The lid also features an internal hinge that is completely flat so when I open the lid it does not slam into the wall! There is also a slide switch on top to keep the lid open in case a not so simple chore is being done so I dont have to keep stepping on the pedal.
The Pedal
This baby comes with a reinforced steel bar petal! The entire solid steel bar encircles the front base to create an expansive step area that is simple to step on. No matter what angle you come at the trash can, you can smoothly open it with a simple toe push because of the double-hinge pedal mount!
