The Sleepypod consists of two pieces. The bottom “bed” part and a zip off top mesh part with a handle. I left the top off my Sleepypod for weeks hoping my cats would nap in it, but they did not. I put the lid on and left the middle unzipped hoping that one of the cats would get nosy and investigate and realize how comfy it is. But my stubborn cats would not go near the thing! I caught them a few times sniffing around it- but they never went in. Not even when I put treats inside.
