I have a hard time putting into words how frustrating it is buying shoes around here. It seems that every two months I have to buy a new pair of sneakers for my kids because the old ones have worn out, become uncomfortable or one gets lost.
Carlee has been wearing and loving her Tsukihoshi Euro shoes for almost four months now with no issues. We love the sneaker so much, I have a hard time putting her into any of her other shoes. They have all the features of a great kids shoe and are a pretty adorable color if I do say so myself!

“With a long and storied existence dating back to 1873, Tsukihoshi is the largest manufacturer and distributor of children’s footwear in Japan. Tsukihoshi has been collaborating with orthopedic specialists since 1985, perfecting a line of shoes that focuses on the health, protection and comfort of children’s feet. Now, Tsukihoshi’s line of fashionably functional footwear has reached America. Every Tsukihoshi style is machine washable, anti-bacterial, ultra-lightweight and designed to promote proper foot development. These attributes, along with the brand’s terrific styling, make Tsukihoshi stand out as a unique brand in children’s athletics.”
Easy On & Off:
Carlee is a very shy girl, but she also loves her independence. I have purchased shoes in the past she could not get on by herself and she very rarely picked them to wear. The single, large velcro strap and side seamed shoe tongue makes this shoe super easy for Carlee to get on and off herself!
Washable:
My kids sleep light and play hard. Most shoes do not last two months in our house with out scuffed toes or stains that just wont come out! With Tsukihoshi all I do is stick them in a cold wash with regular detergent and then air dry. They come out looking and smelling brand new!
Lightweight:
This has to make its way into my favorite features- because it is my kids favorite feature. My kids were born with my sense of balance and coordination, which is a nice way of saying that they have none. Heavy, clunky shoes just do not work for us, they end up tripping and falling over them which is no fun for them or us.
Flexible Sole:
When searching for a great kids shoe- the sole is something you must take into account. After all the sole is what protects your kids foot from the ground- right? Well the sole of the shoe should be thick enough for protection but also be able to bend at the ball. If it bends easily- it has a flexible sole!

Tsukihoshi shoes also feature a special ‘Molded Cup Insole” that is designed for children’s arches which are not quite fully formed yet, a cup-insole coated with Green-Tea Polyphenol to deodorizes the smell in shoes and solid half sock board and a solid heel counter that helps to provide stability in the heel area for balanced landing!
Over all if you are looking for a pair of shoes that are going to keep your kids feet comfortable, look clean for a long period of time and help your child’s foot develop properly- the Tsukihoshi Euro’s are a great shoe to consider!
Tsukihoshi Euro Shoes come in many different colors- you can check out the boy version and what dad thinks of the Tsukihoshi Euro Shoes at Real Dad Reviews!

I am adamant about good shoes for kids while their feet are growing and these look very well made and they are cute too!
Very cute and they look like they would be very easy for a child to put on themselves without a lot of help.
Your kids look so cute. That would be a good pic to frame. 🙂 I’d like to get some of these for my neice. It’s funny how 1 shoe always disappears and the dryer eats the socks.Lol!
I just love that last photo!! And the shoes are super cute too 😉
It is really cute. My little one will love it!
Very cute shoes! I have only recenrly heard of Tsukihoshi Shoes.
well those shoes are snazzy all I had as a kid was my brothers hand me down keds. and I was older then him dang it why did I get the hand me downs? well any kid in these would feel all styling.
Those looking like good, well made, sturdy and stylish shoes for children. We go through a lot of shoes here at our house, too. Two elementary school aged boys are constantly needing new shoes.
I have never heard of these shoes before but they sound so good for my grand daughter. I like that they have supportive arches and deodorize the inside of the shoes. What a great idea.
Very cute! Also glad they are so well made. Love the testers too. They are so cute. =)
I like these, they would really be nice for my grandson.
They have such cute shoes! I didn’t realize all the features that they have though! Definitely worth the $50!
I love that this company works with orthopedic specialists & that the shoes are lightweight!
I love these shoes! It’s so important for kids to have good footwear and these look really well made and comfortable!
well fitted shoes are so incredibly important – these look to have a lot of good features
Those are some great looking shoes!
I love how unique the style is, yet, the quality is wonderful and the shoes are SO cute!
Never heard of Tsukihoshi before this post. Apparently tsuki means moon and hoshi means star, so these are shoes of the moon and stars.
Cute & stylist shoes! Looks durable too.
You’re the greatest! JMHO
These are great shoes. I wish they had been in the US when my kids were little
These look like really well made shoes. I love velcro, especially for the little ity bity ones. It just makes more sense as they are very wiggly and mine rarely sit still long enough for me to put on their shoes let alone tie them 🙂 Thanks, I had never heard of these, but I totally want to try them.
these are really cute and look super comfortable!
Very sporty, yet cute! My son is close to outgrowing his Stride Right sneakers, I might give these a shot next!
I don’t think I’ve seen girl shoes quite like these. They’re very cute and they look like good quality shoes too.
Very cute! Where are the adult sizes? ;}
