When you think of throwing your child the best birthday party ever what pops into your mind? Booking a party is easy, all you have to do is pick the day, pick your package and send out invitations. Once the big day comes around, just show up at your location and your host of hostess takes care of the rest. No need to order a cake. No need to buy, put up or take down decorations. No need to clean your entire house for a party, only to have it trashed after … [Read more...]
The Cost Of Full Time RV Living
One of the most common questions I am asked when I tell someone myself, my husband and our four kiddos travel and live full time in an RV is, "How much does it cost?!". That is a deeply personal question of course, but we get it so often I thought sharing our budget information may help others plan a realistic budget for their RV travels. Before we hit the road we did a bit of research, and research shows that families who travel full-time often spend less on living costs than your typical family in a “traditional” home. We have no heat, electric, HOA, cable, water, landline phone, security system, … [Read more...]
Tara Griest Photography
Capturing every second of a new babies life is important. However, finding a great newborn photographer can be quite hard. Thankfully with Caleb, I found Tara Griest! Tara and I met when I was about eight months pregnant on a hayride at my campground and we hit it off right away. We friended each other on Facebook and right before I had Caleb, she offered to come take his newborn pictures. I was ecstatic to say the least! I had stalked her photography page on Facebook and her newborn pictures were quite impressive. I also was very excited that I didn't have to leave my house for the session. As many … [Read more...]

Swaddling is by far the fastest way to quiet a fussy baby. It works for me four out of five times. With Caleb, we decided right off the bat we wanted to use aden + anais swaddles. 100th Day Of School Bees In A Hive Project
The 100th day of school is such a special time for kids. The teachers go all out and they are asked to create a project featuring 100 things. All of my kiddos needed projects but I wanted to make sure each of them had something super special to bring in! Derrick's teacher mentioned a while ago she loved bumblebees- so his project was a Beehive! We headed to AC Moore to collect our supplies. It cost us around 35.00, with the purchase of paint brushes and superglue because we did not have one. All you need for this project is round piece of tree, light yellow paint, dark yellow paint, black paint, … [Read more...]
100th Day Of School Melted Crayon Art Project
About a week ago Ethan came home from school more excited than I had seen him in a while. He quickly dug around in his backpack and handed me a note from his teacher about the upcoming 100th day of school! Ethan had to find 100 of something and bring them in to share with the class. There were a few ideas, like 100 cheerios on a string, or 100 beads in a bottle- however I wanted to do something special with him that his teacher would be really impressed with! It just so happens that exact day, Heather from Our Kids Mom posted an amazing melted crayon art project she did with her daughter and I knew that … [Read more...]
