NoNetz Bathing Suit

Does your son love to go swimming, but cringe when he has to put his suit on? The traditional mesh netting inside boys swimsuits has been an issue in my house for as long as I can remember. It seems like almost every time we go swimming I end up with one boy that has a painful rash.

The net rubs against my kiddos and the friction between the skin and the net chafes my boys inner legs. My boys end up walking for weeks scratching their butts because it is so itchy! The only solution I have found thus far is to cut the net liner out and have the boys instead wear a pair of undies underneath- but even the underwear eventually become uncomfortable.

I have finally found a relief for my boys! NoNetz! NoNetz was started by three sisters with a similar problem to me, sons with itchy bums! NoNetz are are anti-chafe, anti-bacterial, upf 50+ swim trunks made just for young boys!

The inside of the NoNetz is a high performance fabric that holds everything in the right places. It is not super tight, but not as loose as boxers either. The inside liner is made of a fast drying, high performance fabric that features abrasion resistance, chlorine resistance and a SilverClear Finish, which is a powerful antibacterial and bactericidal agent (an agent that destroys bacteria).

Features Include:

  • Made in the USA
  • Soft, quick drying shell with built-in anti-chafe, anti-bacterial liner
  • Liner rated UPF 50+
  • Helps prevent chafing
  • Elasticized waist band, drawstring tie
  • Velcro-close cargo pocket with draining grommet
  • White top stitching
  • Contrast waist and pocket flap offered in lime, white and orange
  • Rubber wave patch detail

NoNets trunks sit just below waist and are relaxed through hip and thigh. They come in sizes 6-16 and in four different colors! My husband said the only thing wrong with NoNetz is that they don’t come in his size… yet!

Buy It: NoNetz bathing suits are a bit more than normal suits! One suit will run you $40.00, however… The NoNetz suit is really two bathing suits in one. The liner could be a bathing suit all by itself. The shell is just there to makes everything decently covered and less outlined so your little boy isn’t wearing a speedo. Plus they are made in the USA (which is 300% more expensive than China) in order to support US communities! Straight from the NoNetz site:

“If every American spent $50.00 on one USA made item a year, it would create an estimated $15.7 billion in taxable revenue. Are you willing to buy for our country?”

  1. Brittany says:

oh man my son HATES the mesh in his bathing suit. I have to cut it out every single time! And it ends up rubbing on the back on his legs!

  2. Finally! Someone has made mesh free swim trunks for boys. My older boys and now my 4 year old boy were always wiggling around in their bathing suit. Sometimes that mesh under pant inside is just too abnormally small lol. This sounds like a great solution and best of all..made in the U.S.A.!

  3. Diane K. Brimmer says:

Wow, that’s great! Glad to see someone has come up with something the boys can wear. I think it would be horrible myself to have to wear them.

  4. These swimming trunks are made in the USA! Also that is great that there is a company that now makes these types of swimming trunks!

  5. We brought our NoNetz suit to the beach and my son had wonderful results! He didn’t complain once and there was no rash or irritation even after an entire day.
