Disclosure: Chrysler let me test drive a 2013 300 for a week!
The 2013 Chrysler 300 is a stylish, roomy and comfortable mid sized sedan that families can get excited about! With a starting price of $30,145.00, a large back seat that can LATCH three car seats and a trunk big enough to fit a huge stroller it may just be the mid sized sedan your family needs!
The 3.6L Pentastar V6 and the 5.7L HEMI V8 with Fuel Saver Technology are both engineered to be effortless on the highway and responsive in the city. The new eight-speed automatic transmission helps maximize performance and mpg, averaging 19 city and 31 highway which is amazing for a vehicle of this size. We averaged 25 mpg on our week test drive which encompassed quite a bit of high way driving.
The interior of the 300 is packed with premium finishes and soft-touch materials that give dramatic depth to every surface. Inventive technology flourishes throughout the cabin and helps keep you connected and comfortable. The acoustic properties of the cabin reduce outside noise and increase interior peace.
The dual-pane sunroof system covers a massive 70% of the roof and make looking up at the clouds, starts and trees fun for everyone inside.
The amazing heated and cooled cup holders make sure your drinks are as comfy as you are. Turn it on chill to keep a cup of soda extra cold or switch it to heat to keep your coffee warm all the way to work! Besides the two front cupholders, there are two more in the rear and four bottleholders. Storage for sunglasses, change, snacks and phones is plentiful with the cabin’s various cubbies, a generous center console and a tiered glove box.
The back seat has more than enough room for three car seats across. This is actually the first car I have test drove that had enough anchors for all three seats to be installed with LATCH. This is a huge time saver and I really wish all cars would feature this. Pictured below you will find three Diono Radian RXT seats.
For those that have adult passengers in the back seat often the 50.7 cubic feet of rear seat volume will be appreciated. The rear console also has a plug for chargers as well as seat heaters.
The roomy trunk pops open easily with the touch of a button inside. It’s easily closed with one hand. The trunk was big enough for a large single stroller with room left over for groceries. The 60/40-split rear seats fold to allow for even more trunk space if you need to transport something larger.

We had a Chrysler 300 as a rental car a few years ago while our old SUV was being repaired. It had a ton of room all around and fit my three children in the back just fine, even with their car seats!
Thats a sharp looking car- it has alot of luxury features you wouldnt expect and looks roomy too.
I have always thought that this car is a beauty and have always liked it! I would love to own this car and see how it drives. It looks so comfortable and well made. I like the fuel saver technology where I can get good gas mileage on the highway.
What a nice sedan and very roomy inside! Looks like it has great features, too!
I never heard of cup holders in the vehicle that would keep your drinks cold or hot, How great is that…wow, Love the sunroof system also, that I would have fun with
Wow! A great family – or anyone – car! Never heard of some of the features like the temp cup holders. I love heated seats and a cold drink so I can see where this would be very useful. The ability to fit three car seats in comfortably makes this a great family car but it’s also very stylish and chic. My husband would love the wood grain look, and I like the room in the trunk and all the cup holders. Very useful!
A very nice car but I would never be able to afford it. I really need to get a new car but I do not know how to go about doing so. I have no credit so it’s even more harder for me to be financed. If you have any tips on purchasing a new car, i would love to hear them. Thanks for all the help. 🙂
