aden + anais: Bamboo Azure Collection

There is something special about the softness of bamboo fibers against my babies skin that makes me want to wrap all my babies up in it tight and never let them go! However, as they grow they like to be swaddled and cuddled by momma less and less. Thankfully in 55 days and counting, our newest addition- Caleb will be making his appearance and I get to swaddle a newborn all over again. My swaddle brand of choice is – of course aden & anais.

The aden & anais azure print combines a brilliant turquoise hue with the luxuriously soft rayon from bamboo fiber muslin. I use swaddle blankets for everything- swadding, shading, covering myself when nursing, burp cloths, diaper changing mats and even tummy time blankets. They are so versatile I never leave home without at least one in my diaper bag.

The azure dream blanket is also 47″ x 47″, but features four-layers of bamboo muslin. It is great for snuggling anytime, anywhere and just like the swaddles it gets softer with every wash. Even though it is four layers of bamboo, it still makes a great summer time blanket because it is so breathable.

I intended to put away the azure swaddles and dream blanket for Caleb, but realized quickly that his big brother Emmitt fell in love with the dream blanket first. Emmitt has been a fan of aden & anais since he was itty bitty- but we have never owned a bamboo dream blanket. Needless to say- I may have to buy Caleb his own azure dream blanket because Emmitt is so not giving it up!
