There’s nothing worse than being in the middle of an online match and the controller dying. I can not tell you how many times this has happened to people in my house using our Xbox wireless controllers. It is annoying, frustrating and maddening all at the same time.
We use our Xbox for gaming, Netflix and Hulu. It is on and running for at least six hours a day. That being said we really need a battery that is going to last! The batteries we are using now are the cheap ones and we have to change them about every other day- not joking at all!
“Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries have now been improved to last up to 9X longer in digital cameras (previously 8X longer), when compared to Energizer MAX AA batteries. These improvements also translate to extended performance in other high tech devices like photo flashes, video recorders, GPS units, game console controllers, flashlights and headlights. And, 9x longer means 9x less waste. ”
Features Include:
Last up to 9x longer in digital cameras (versus Energizer MAX. results vary by camera.)
Weigh 1/3 less than standard alkaline batteries
Perform in extreme temperatures from -40°F to 140°F
Holds power for 15 years when not in use
Leak resistant construction
Energizer sent me a few packs to test drive about three weeks ago and believe it or not my Xbox controller is still going strong! I can not believe the exact same batteries have lasted in my controller for almost three weeks. Needless to say, I have learned my lesson and will only be buying Ultimate Lithium from now on!
Buy It: You can find Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries in convenient 2, 4 and 8 packs at a retailer near you!
