When babies are just starting to sit up and wanting to explore more of the world around them finding a place for them to sit and have fun is honestly hard. You need a place that is safe for them to sit, that they won’t get hurt on if they happen to lose their balance. Yet you also need a spot that is engaging with enough stuff to keep them occupied for more than two minutes. Finding a product that has both of these features is hard. The Galt Playnest & Gym is both of these things, smushed into one light, transportable and washable activity center you won’t know how you survived without!
Straight out of the box assembly is a bit intimidating. There are quite a few pieces that have to be put together and a large pool like float that has to be half way blown up, placed into the cover and then fully inflated. First time set up took about 20 minutes. Setting up after that only took 5.
The tube cover is a soft multi-sensory environment with a fun farm scene. There are textures and sounds to explore in the four Gym toys and the eight activities around the Playnest. Both hand/eye coordination and manipulative skills are encouraged during play. All you have to do is place baby in the middle and let their imagination run wild.
Box says ages 0+ but to be honest I would not be comfortable placing a baby into the tube till they are able to sit up on their own, or around 6 months. The Playnest will be a favorite place for many, many months. My two year old thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread!

I love that this has a circle to sit in! My kids had something similar but it was to lay on the floor!
What a neat place to put your baby to play and know that he is safe and entertained. Moms need to have this, so much better than the floor or carpet.
