GoodNites Bed Mats

Carlee was by far the easiest child to potty train thus far. I’ve always heard that girls are the easiest to potty train so maybe that is why! The hardest part of potty training her was getting her to wake up with a dry bed!

We tried no water before bed, waking her up in the middle of the night and even special night time diapers. However the first few ideas were hard for us to remember and putting her in night time diapers kind of defeated the purpose of her being a ‘big girl’. At one point I was getting up in the middle of the night three or more times a week to change her clothes and her entire bed. What a pain!

Then I read about Goodnites Bed Mats! GoodNites Bed Mats were designed to give your child a better night by helping to manage frustrations and sheet changes. They are a one size fits all- so need to worry about what size your child needs. Each mat is 2.5 feet by 3 feet and can absorb as much fluid as a L-XL pair of GoodNites Underwear with out your child feeling like they are wearing diapers again!

GoodNites sent us a  pack of Goodnites Bed Mats to try out along with a Confidence Booster Kit that included special bed and bathroom goodies from Pottery Barn!

The GoodNites Disposable Bed Mats are super easy to stick on. Simply place the Bed Mat on top of  your child’s fitted sheet, peel the adhesive strips off the corners and smooth down. They come off by simply pulling them off- so easy in the middle of the night for a sleepy mom!

The bed mat covers a large area of the bed so sheets are kept dry no matter how big of an accident your little one has. They cover an entire crib or toddler mattress and a good portion of a twin bed! I was a bit worried about the mat coming off in the middle of the night because Carlee is quite a tosser and turner- however the adhesive on the back of the mat really sticks and the mat is in the exact same place I put it when I take it off!

If you have a bed wetter or are getting ready to start potty training  and do not want to use night time diapers I think you should definitely give these a try- I promise in the middle of the night I am sure you would much rather pull off a mat instead of change the sheets!

These look like they would really work well and solve a lot of problems for moms and dads who are potty training their little ones. I am helping my niece potty train her young son who is also a tosser and a turner. I guess I will have to go out and purchase a pack of these to try them out for myself.
