Disclosure: The cold weather clothing featured below was sent compliments of OneStepAhead.
Christmas is long come and gone but like the carol we all know and love, the weather outside is still frightful! It just keeps snowing and snowing! The kids love the snow. They love being outside. However with the flu and all sorts of different colds going around right now I have to make sure they are warm and toasty before I think of sending them outside so I can get some peace and quiet they can play to their hearts content- enter Cozy Cub!
The OneStepAhead Cozy Cub line was designed for performance, comfort & fun! The entire line is made of high-tech materials that provide lots of warmth without bulk. Each article is loaded with clever design details and are super easy and kid-friendly to put on. For review we were sent a Parka and Snow Pants for Carlee and a Baby Bunting for Caleb.
Carlee’s parka and snowpants are perfect for snowman building, snowball fights and walking to the bus stop on a cold morning. The parka is packed with features, yes you read right a jacket with features. The Grow with Me sleeves, offer longer wear, all you have to do is release a single stitch and you can add a 1 1/2″ of sleeve length. The outer waterproof nylon shell repels water and keeps her dry and the high-tech Thinsulate core for keeps her warm.
Other thoughtful details include cozy, fleece-lined pockets to warm little hands and an adjustable, face-framing, addjustable hood to keep the wind off her cheeks.
Mitten clips, a photo ID pocket and tissue pocket also are included! The snow pants feature a luxurious minky plush bodice with a 2″ Grow-with-Me hem and adjustable hook ‘n loop shoulder straps so they will last just as long as the jacket!
Caleb’s down bunting is warm, soft and lightweight. The fold-over mittens and booties give added warmth, while also allowing baby quite a bit of room to grow. Once they outgrow them being folded over, simply unfold.
The long, diagonal zipper allows for wrestle-free winter dressing and the zipper guard fully protects baby’s chin. The hood leaves a bit to be desired. It does not cover his head very well and falls off easily. I really wish it had the same adjustable band that Carlee’s parka features.
If your looking to keep baby warm and cozy outdoors with a product that will last a year or two, Cozy Cub is a product line you must check out! You can view the entire line here- onestepahead.com!
These look awesome. We live in Wisconsin, and it is really hard to keep my daughter warm enough to play out in the snow for any length of time.
That actually looks nice and warm. Whole lot warmer than the one I bought this year for my granddaughter who is 15 months.
This is really cute on and looks like it will keep them warm. I like the fold over mittens on the bunting.
These are cute and don’t make them seem 3 times their size because of bulky clothes.
Those are real cute.I need to get something like that for my nieces to keep them warm
Oh these look so wonderful!!! I LOVE the grow with me sleeves! How neat is that!!!! Those sleeves always seem to be one of the first things that get too short! The adjustable face framing is so great too! This would be perfect for our cold weather too!
Wow your little guy looks so bundled up and warm. I wish they would advertise these on TV because my son loves playing out in the snow and I could have used this last winter we had quite a storm!
