11. Screw Auger Falls – Located just off Route 26 this 23 foot waterfall can be found inside Grafton Notch State Park. It follows a narrow gorge along the Bear River and offers shallow wading pools that are perfect for swimming in. Best views? On top of the rock ledge looking over the gorge.

    Great pictures! I have always heard Maine is beautiful but have never been there. I love the lighthouses. I can imagine looking at the sea!

  3. I have never been to Maine, but have a friend out there and I hope to visit someday! I would love to see the Portland Head Lighthouse! She visits lighthouses often and I just love the pictures.
