Disclosure: The Photo Clock in the feature below was sent compliments of Zazoo.
Every parent wants their child to sleep well, and i know at least in our family, that means not getting up before sunrise! A few months ago, our 3-year-old, Hannah, began to challenge us in this area, showing up by our bed and tapping me at the shoulder at 6am. This was no ok, and I began to think how we could teach her to do differently. Thankfully, soon after, I learned about the Zazoo Clock, and it has been a lifesaver!
The award-winning Zazoo Photo Clock is a learning tool and modern sleep solution for children who wake up too early. It is a great way to teach young children the concept of time in a fun and skillful way. The Zazoo Photo Clock lets your child know what time is is and what they should be doing, by the appropriate image. When it’s time to wake up, the sun is displayed, and when they should go to or stay in bed, the moon appears. There are preprogrammed images, or you can even personalize the clock by adding your own pictures, using the included USB or SD card slot for easy uploading. The Zazoo Photo Clock has other fun multimedia features, including a rotating photo frame, music (also preprogrammed or upload your own), audio book, alarm clock, and video capabilities.
I am very impressed with the Zazoo Photo Clock. It is stylish in appearance, coming in a variety of colors, and is also easy to use. With a few clicks on the remote provided, my husband or I can program the awake and sleep times, which especially comes handy for me at naptime. We always have the clock times set for bedtime and morning wake time, but nap time fluctuates a lot, depending on what we’ve been doing that day. So, within a minute or two, when settling Hannah for her nap, I can select the current time for her nap to begin (bringing up the moon image) and the wake time two hours later.
Overall, we’ve found Hannah to be receptive and learn from the Zazoo Photo Clock quite quickly. She often comments that it’s time to sleep, when entering her bedroom at night, when the moon image is already on the clock. And most importantly, most mornings, she will wake up and if the clock hasn’t turned to the sun yet, she’ll either lay back down, or stay in her room and play until it changes…resulting in more sleep for us parents and her, as well as her little sister!
As I mentioned the clock’s use above for naptime, I would say it’s worth buying just to help with that alone. We were finding that as our daughter is getting older, she’s not always wanting to sleep during naptime, but some days just play quietly or read in her room. The Zazoo Photo Clock has relieved stress from my afternoons, by demonstrating to Hannah the timeframe she needs to stay in her room. In the long run, it is teaching her self-disclipline and a good concept of time and scheduling, and again, making life easier for us as parents! And by no means is this product just for toddlers-it has an alarm and actual clock on it, too, growing with your child and able to be used for many years!
I would highly recommend the Zazoo Photo Clock to any parent. It is a great teaching tool for your child, and greatly benefits the entire family!

This is the cutest clock and it has so many nifty functions and features.mBoth of my daughters would love to have one of these.
I love that you can program it with a remote.
This is so cool! A remote is super convenient!
Sounds like a wonderful idea but I don’t think it would work with our youngest granddaughter. When she decides she wants to get up she gets up and goes to the tv. But usually falls back asleep on the couch. It is a great idea and would be worth trying though. Thanks for the review.
Thank you
I would love to give this to my sister for a gift for her daughter!!! She has a hard time going to sleep and this would be a huge disciplinary help!!!!
This sounds like something my daughter would enjoy!

It is a great idea and would be worth trying though
This is a great idea. Sure wish they had it when my kids were small.
I think this clock is a great idea especially for those kids that are difficult to put to bed.
My son like this.
Simply put, I just love this clock.
