Kwik Stix

Disclosure: This post brought to you by The Pencil Grip. My  kids love to paint! There is just something about the way paint looks on paper that attracts them. We try to paint at least twice a month, because clean up is such a pain. Spills, stains, messy brushes- ugh no fun. We don't do it as often as they would like because of this. After searching for months and months for a product that my kids would love to use as much as paint, but wouldn't leave me with a disaster zone to clean up, I found Kwik Stix. With Kwik Stix, there is no need for water, messy caps OR brushes. Simply uncap, twist and … [Read more...]

The Cost Of Full Time RV Living

One of the most common questions I am asked when I tell someone myself, my husband and our four kiddos travel and live full time in an RV is, "How much does it cost?!". That is a deeply personal question of course, but we get it so often I thought sharing our budget information may help others plan a realistic budget for their RV travels. Before we hit the road we did a bit of research, and research shows that families who travel full-time often spend less on living costs than your typical family in a “traditional” home. We have no heat, electric, HOA, cable, water, landline phone, security system, … [Read more...]

Disclosure: Many thanks to Chrysler for sponsoring my trip to Detroit. Last week I flew from warm and sunny Florida out to cold and snowy Detroit to take a look at the all new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, and I am so glad I did. It is a total game changer for many families, including families who live on the road full time!Boasting an impressive 80MPGe with a 30 mile all electric driving range is enough to make me scream and shout hooray! But when I crunched the numbers, I was even more impressed. The average full time family goes to the front of the campground, the local national park and the grocery … [Read more...]
