Tony & Milena’s – Hayes, VA

When you first approach Tony & Milena's 'Pizzeria', which is located in a small strip mall off the George Washington Memorial Hwy you really aren't sure what to expect. It looks like any other small town pizza joint that serves greasy pizza and over prized wings...However Tony & Milena's is  nothing like that. Actually, to be honest I'm not sure why they even call it a pizzeria. It's atmosphere and food feel and taste more like a fine dining Italian restaurant, with out the dress code and price shock. Our waiter, Max was attentive and helpful. He explained everything on the menu to us, and … [Read more...]

Four Quick Kid Friendly Air Fryer Snacks!

Disclosure: This post brought to you by Philips. I told you all about the Home30 challenge Philips asked me to take on about a month ago. All I had to do was cook a home-cooked meal every day, for 30 days. Easy right? Well thanks to the Air Fryer they sent me to help out it was a cinch!!The recipe book that came with it was jam packed with creative ideas, but in my house I have some pretty picky eaters. So we had to create our own! I found that I reached for the Air Fryer around lunch time the most. It comes with a 30 minute timer with ready signal and auto shut-off. The fully adjustable temperature … [Read more...]

KidCo Go-Pod

Disclosure: The Go-Pod pictured below was provided compliments of KidCo. When it comes to baby gear must haves, a good stationary activity center is for sure a must in my book. They are excellent to use before baby can crawl to keep them out from under foot and then can be used after they can walk to keep them in one place for more than five minutes thirty seconds. As much as I wanted to take our large one with us, I realized that living in a tiny space (like our 5th wheel) doesn't really give me the space to bring it, however there is just enough space for the KidCo Go-Pod! The Go-Pod is an ultra … [Read more...]

Five Ways To Make An RV Bunk Bed Kid Friendly

Disclosure: This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #ConfidentKids #CollectiveBias Our RV has some amazing, top of the line things inside it, however the bunk bed mattresses are lousy. To be honest they really aren't even mattresses, they are really just a thin layer of dense foam more meant for the top of a chair or a rarely futon. This means I have had to come up with a few creative solutions to make the kids love their bunk beds as much as their old beds and make sure they are just as comfortable. Memory Foam Pad- The first thing I … [Read more...]

KidCo TravelPod

Disclosure: The TravelPod featured below was provided compliments of KidCo. One thing I have learned living in an RV is just because I don't have a ton of space, does not mean I have to sacrifice quality and comfort when it comes to baby gear. There are so many different baby gear products on the market made for small spaces and the KidCo TravelPod is currently one of our favorites. The TravelPod is one of the lightest play yards I have ever used, at just over 10lbs. It is recommended for children up to three years of age, or 37 inches. I found the sleep area to be larger than normal, and … [Read more...]
