We have been slowly, but surly trying to make our home more and more energy efficient. Each and every project we complete lowers our electricity a bit- saving us, sometimes more in a year than the project even cost to complete! We started with simple things like switching to LED light bulbs, weatherstripping our doors and making sure all of our windows had an air tight seal. I have never had a child that was super into one specific thing till Emmitt. This boy will do anything he can to play with a ball. Any type of ball! Football, bouncy ball even marbles! So when I saw that Bright Starts was adding a 5-in-1 Sports Zone 'balltastic' toy to their havin' a ball line I knew we had to have it for Emmitt! Assembly was a breeze. Electronics in our house normally fair pretty well, even with six kids. However a few months ago I learned my lesson the hard way when somehow my iPad made it into the bubble bath with Carlee. We tried the rice method, but were left with a water logged iPad that Apple wanted to charge us 250.00 to replace.
